Abstract
How does individual health status impact the valuation of longevity risk? This seminar delves into the actuarial implications of using the PLIDA dataset to model mortality. We will discuss the construction of a State-Based Dynamic Probabilistic Model and its direct application to improving the accuracy of annuity payment forecasts and the broader financial planning horizons for retirees.
